Description Claire Revillet 2016-09-28 10:22:08 CEST
Description of problem:
GDM seems to validate fields (login and password) before user type "enter" leading to impossibility to log in or unlock screen.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Installed through mga6sta1 classical installation 64bits ISO

How reproducible:
1) Install mga6sta1, don't install updates through installer (it fails on my machine).
2) After reboot, log in and launch updates.
3) let the screen lock or reboot
4) try to unlock or log in...

(please note that that machine is my only internet access at home, so I can't test and answer here easily)

I've seen that with the screen locker too.
I think that happens when you've update some gnome packages from 3.20 to 3.22 but you'ven't restarted yet

Fixed: we were shiping a broken symlink for /etc/pam.d/gdm-password
