I did the same correction as in Cauldron (bug 17905): change default desktop font size from 12 to 11.
Comment 3 Nicolas Salguero 2016-09-28 10:23:25 CEST
Suggested advisory:
========================

The updated package change the default desktop font size so that Wastebasket is on one line. That modification only applies to new users because, for old users, the configuration file $HOME/.config/pcmanfm/LXDE/pcmanfm.conf already exists so the template configuration file /etc/xdg/pcmanfm/default/pcmanfm.conf is not used.

Updated package in core/updates_testing:

Hi,

As the package is in updates_testing, I reopen the bug report so that the package can be validated to go into updates.

Ben, can you add the good keyword to whiteboard (MGA5-32-OK or MGA5-64-OK), depending on the architecture on which you tested the new package, please?

Best regards,

Nico.

Would you like this re-opened or
a new b/r?
Comment 13 Nicolas Salguero 2016-11-21 10:15:54 CET
Hi Ben,

Did you test with new users? Because, as always, the modification only applies to new users.

I checked pcmanfm-1.2.3-2.2.mga5.x86_64.rpm and the file /etc/xdg/pcmanfm/default/pcmanfm.conf contains the line "desktop_font=Sans 11".

Best regards,

Nico.
Comment 14 Ben McMonagle 2016-11-22 08:27:29 CET
Hi Nico,

with a virgin install (All options except developer) it is ok.

so an update of only x86-64 appears to have a problem.

will try an upgrade of LXDE only in Vbox -I only have an "4.1 all DE" install backed up.

I will also check if a "new" user after install is ok

Best regards,

Ben
