Is it possible to backport nodejs-4.5 from cauldron ? Mageia5 version is very old.

Mageia 5 version is not that old, it's from March 2015. It's just that upstream changed their versioning scheme which makes it look like it's very old versus 4.5.

I don't think such an update will happen, as updating nodejs would likely mean updating the whole stack, which would be very hazardous to do in a stable release.

It certainly won't be updated (and is still supported upstream) and this isn't the type of update that would be OK per our backports policy.  Also, Mageia 5 is getting toward the end of its life.
