In upgrade from Mga-5 to Mga-5.1 the kernel is not updated. kernel-desktop-3.19.8-desktop-3.mga5 is installed by Mga-5. After the upgrade to Mga-5.1 kernel-desktop-3.19.8-desktop-3.mga5 is still the only kernel installed on the system. kernel-desktop-4.4.16-1.mga5 is included in the Mageia-5.1-x86_64-DVD.iso BUT kernel-desktop-latest-4.4.16-1.mga5 IS NOT included so updated kernel is installed during the upgrade.

Anne said on the QA list Sun "I'm working at the moment on updating isos to fix the main bugs." I think any blocker tracker should wait until after the updated isos are uploaded and tested.
That bug is mentioned as releaser blocker for mg6 which it is not no (on http://madb.mageia.org/tools/blockers) ?
