Description of problem:

The net_applet icons are not shown correctly in the toolbar

When the lxde desktop is used as desktop, the net_applet status icon are not shown correctly in the toolbar (in particular the icon is replicated as if it were a pattern). Also when a connection is made the status of the net_applet icon in the bar changes to some icon not much visible or messed up.

I attach two screenshots to better understand the problem.
