Ah, you're right. I hadn't used that option in years, but it does indeed do nothing at all, now (Starting MCC from a terminal/konsole and/or running journalctl -f , doesn't show anything at all when clicking that option). When was the last time you've seen it work?

I saw it working in mga5, but not now on the system that i upgraded mga5 to 6. And not in fresh install mga6 yesterday.
