What is the error message that you get?

Assigning to maintainer, but also CC'ing all packagers collectively, because the maintainer would be less available during several months.

When I try to add it to the panel I get something like

"The 'Places' element quitted unexpectedly. Should it be restarted?"
"The element was restarted more than once in the last 60 seconds. Pressing the 'Launch' button will start the element again. Otherwise it will be removed from panel."
