Description Wim Coulier 2016-07-22 13:19:47 CEST
Description of problem: Panel becomes unresponsive during installation of additional packages via the MCC

How reproducible: Open "Install & Remove Software" in the MCC and use it to install a package. The panel is frozen during about 1 minute during which the user is not able to use it to switch applications, open the menu, look at notifications, etc.

It seems that this problem only manifestates itself when a package with GUI is installed (possible related with updating the KDE menu).
