Description of problem: Installed sta1 from multiple USB with Live Media > Plasma Desktop > 64 bit. Installation went without issue. Upon rebooting, grub2-efi installed properly, boots to recovery console.

Also couldn't activate wireless while installing (Intel 7265AC), haven't been able to test if this issue continues once installed, for obvious reasons.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Steps to Reproduce:

Thanks for having re-tried with different USB-keys :-)

The installer component is only for traditional non-live installs ;-)
Clicking on "Component" gives more information

I suppose you started life mode, and then continued with installing from there, because the errata informs us that installing directly from the iso's boot menu doesn't work: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_6_Errata#Known_issues_that_will_be_fixed_after_-sta1:

Do you mind redoing the installation one more time, and then, just _before_ rebooting, opening a Konsole and doing:

   su

and then

   journalctl -a > output.txt

and then

   xz output.txt

Copy output.txt.xz to a USB key if you don't have (W)LAN, and attach it to this report when you log into our Bugzilla again.

Thanks :-)

About the wlan issue: does it work to configure wlan in Live mode, before starting the installer?
(It is a different issue, though, so should go into a separate bug report)

Sorry, my test laptop is now being used to test Antergos. I'll probably test Mageia again next updated image.

This report is from almost five years ago and the then requested information was never supplied.
