Description of problem: after adding Isodumper to Mate x86-64 desktop, invoking Isodumper from menu launcher presents "authentication is required to run Isodumper" dialogue box.
enter root password closes the box but no user GUI presented.

How reproducible:every time


Steps to Reproduce:
1.install only Mate DE from 6RC .iso, reboot
2.login, add on-line repos and update. add Isodumper 
3.invoke Isodumper and enter password in dialogue box. press ok
4. no user GUI
5 invoke terminal , change to root, invoke isodumper
6 User GUI presented

Hi Ben,
Can you try by launching isodumper from console as USER too.
You should get the ask for password. It is intersting to see what it happens after.

yes, popup asks for password and accepted.
user GUI appears as expected.

bother.

after power-down overnight and reboot, isodumper is now working correctly.

I will check other single DE installs , and if no further issues, will close this report

currently cannot complete installs from 6RC rnd3 on real hardware.
will try in Virtual-box

in virtual box is ok so closing as resolved
