ah, an alpha, so apparently not :-/ Does it help when you install libgnome-keyring0 or lib64gnome-keyring first?
well, alpha 64, so try lib64gnome-keyring (I should have more coffee :-þ )
coffee!!! that should, of course, be lib64gnome-keyring0
They did a crappy rpm package job. It's carrying a specific Requires: libgnome-keyring On Mga it will have to be installed using --nodeps

lib64gnome-keyring0 is already installed. No get-skype, just trying to install the rp I downloaded directly. Actually last week I installed it and I was using it. This morning I did the updates for my installation and oops; skype disappeared, so I tried to downlaod the package and reinstall it again. # urpmi --nodeps /home/mageia/Downloads/skypeforlinux-64-alpha.rpm Unknown option: nodeps A requested package cannot be installed: skypeforlinux-1.1.0.21-1.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied libgnome-keyring) Continue installation anyway? It's Installed. Using rpm -i will not show it being installed, I always use rpm -Uvh to get vebose output. Try launching it from it's menu entry or from a terminal. $ skypeforlinux BTY when using urpm1 you have to use --allow-nodeps
:) Thank you. You're right! Oh gosh!!
