Description of problem: After upgrading Mga5 (6DE in1) to Mga6, Mate DE application menu does nothing when left mouse clicked apart from change colour.
all other icons in taskbar operate correctly

How reproducible:
every time I login

Steps to Reproduce:
1.upgrade Mga5 (6DE in 1) to Mga6. reboot.
2.login to Mate DE, (You may need to ctrl+alt+F2 and ctrl+alt+F1)
3.attempt to launch application menu

This issue should be fixed by mate-menus-1.16.0-2.mga6. I don't know that package is in sta2 isos but would you mind to test installing it?

This is fixed for me in a clean net-install of Mga5 upgraded to Mga6 yesterday.

All menus are working correctly.
