Description of problem: after upgrading Mga5 i586 (6in1 DE) to Mga6 sta1, at login, choosing LXDE and logging in appears to do nothing. how-ever if ctrl + alt + F2 and then ctrl + alt + F1, then desktop is presented Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1.upgrade Mga5 i586 (6in1 DE) to Mga6 sta1, reboot 2.choose LXDE at login 3.note no desktop presented 4.enter ctrl + alt + F2 and then ctrl + alt + F1, desktop will be presented

You're not telling which Display Manager you're using. Please check with drakedm http://doc.mageia.org/mcc/5/en/content/drakedm.html which one you're currently using. Please, when that happens again, do also attach journalctl.txt that is the result of running, as root, journalctl -ab > journalctl.txt right after you got the desktop up by switching to tty2 and back.

I fail to see what goes wrong after those DEs get started from SDDM... neoclust will know better what to look for.... assigning to him.
