I have a mother board Gigabyte H110M-S2PV DDR3 with two serial ports and a Core I5-6400 processor. Due to some graphical problems with this skylake processor that are only addressed with new kernels, I decide to intall cauldron. But goldfish options are set by default in the latest mageia-server kernel. Goldfish use irq4 and then conflict with the first serial port of the motherboard. That make it unusable. I have recompiled the kernel without any goldfish options, and my /dev/ttyS0 works again. If I understand well, goldfish is an emulator for android. If it is needed in Mageia6, can it be configured by default to use an other irq than irq4 that is standardly dedicated for many many years to serial port.

Mass-reassigning all bugs with "kernel" in the summary that are still assigned to tmb (or wrongly assigned to someone with "tmb" in his e-mail address) to the kernel packagers group, but without adding "kernel" to the SRPM field. Please reassign if needed, or add kernel to the SRPM field if this is correct.

It looks that Thomas had removed goldfish in kernel options for previous version (Mageia 4). So it should be ok to do the same for Mageia 6. see bug 11062 at https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11062
Goldfish support disabled in svn, will be in kernel > 4.7.4-1
