Description of problem: No valid configuration was found for xorg.conf settings. It is possible to have the graphical login / password screen, but Plasma or Gnome fail to start. Moreover if accents are typed, the xorg driver crashes, returning to a black console screen. It is possible to have linux bash after logon. I have tried configurations with Intel i810 and later driver, and with Nvidia proprietary and with nouveau driver (using console drakxconf), without success. This recent laptop allows to choose two graphics cards: Intel i915 and Nvidia gtx 960m. The screen is InfinityEdge 4K Ultra HD (3 840 x 2 160), 15,6". Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 6 up to date as of 2016-06-27. How reproducible: Systematically Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot Linux 2. Wait X session 3. Logon 4. Plasma or Gnome doesn't start, returns to the X session graphical screen. 5. Type "é" or "â¬" or any accent character, the X session crashes, leaving a black console.
