Description Herman Viaene 2016-06-24 21:15:44 CEST
Description of problem:
The mga_applet shows briefly a message at the panel to indicate that updates are available, with a button to start the update process.
If I am not quick enough to click the button, the message disappears, and left or right clicking on the icon, just displays "mga_applet" nothing more. In KDE4, tha action message could always be calld back.

Most likely a duplicate of bug 17592, I only didn't know clicking the button ever works in cauldron.

Rereading that bug, I'm now sure this is a duplicate.

I have been lucky enough (once) to click the "install" button from the "updates available" pop-up notification. The notification is there for (maybe) 2 seconds, so if you miss it, clicking mga_applet does nothing(in Plasma5), so update from either terminal or MCC
