Description of problem: Please consider packaging QXMPP. It's a very nice and easy library to build Qt-based XMPP (jabber) applications. There are programs out there which use it (like the Kadu IM client http://www.kadu.im, and this https://github.com/highfidelity/hifi), but my reason is actually selfish ;) I'm building a Qt-based XMPP bot with a GUI, and it's based on QXMPP. Having this library packaged for Mageia would make it easier for other people to build it, at least until the time comes when I ask for my bot to be packaged, which you might also find interesting: https://jancoding.wordpress.com/2016/03/09/introducing-akarixb-a-jabberxmpp-bot-with-a-gui/ If you package this library, there's probably no reason to have a Qt 4 build. Thanks! Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): qxmpp-0.9.1

Hi, package qxmpp-0.9.3 is now imported and uploaded on Cauldron Core/Release repo. http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/cauldron/qxmpp/ Note that it is built against Qt5 :) Best regards daviddavid.

Thanks, David. Assuming this is exactly what was requested, so closing as fixed. @ Jan Feel free to reopen if needed, I'm not sure I understood all of the description ;-)

Really, thanks =) @ Marja, yes, that is exactly what was requested, even the detail of providing the library build with Qt 5, since building it now with Qt 4 makes little sense. This can remain closed, it's been perfectly "fixed". Thanks! \o/
