Description claire robinson 2016-06-10 10:26:55 CEST
Please package PosteRazor. It's old but there is no real GUI replacement for it.

It takes an image as input and prints onto multiple sheets to create a poster.

It still builds, in mga5 at least, with this patch from Debian and even includes build scripts which enable a numpty like me to do it.

Thanks

CC'ing atelier team (because for events we often need posters) and assigning to all packagers collectively, in case a packager is capable of, and has time to, fix & package PosteRazor.

On further playing, it does actually save the pdf, just doesn't prompt to do so beyond giving it a filename. Once that is done, the file is saved.

Is this program really needed? as it is very very old now :)

If yes, I can import it!

It's one of those that when you need it, you really need it. There is nothing else GUI which fulfils the same purpose. It still does a god job.
