Description of problem: the title bar of the "Windows(windows preferences)"is compact and does not correctly display the close (x) button Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia-6-sta1-i586-DVD.iso DATE.txt: Mon Jun 6 23:20:56 CEST 2016 How reproducible:every time Steps to Reproduce: 1.install Mate only DE from above .iso and reboot 2.login and set online repos- update. 3.locate "Windows" (windows preferences) in "Tools" menu 4. note the (x) button in the title bar is partially obsured. this occurs if set to left or right of title bar.

may be related: drakuser: editing "users and groups" title bar is also compact and does not display "minimise, maximise, close" buttons. Used theme: Adwaita would you like a new report for this?

Hi. I think this issue is sorted out by gtk+3 enabled Mate v. 1.16.x on Cauldron. Would you mind to test and report if it's still valid with Mate 1.16.0 ?
