Description Kristoffer Grundström 2011-06-20 03:45:02 CEST
Description of problem: I went to look if mkcramfs is included in Mageia, but it isn't. I'm packing a cramfs-app & no program can currently do this. All sources needed are in that page.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the attached file.
2. Try to package it using another tool than what's described on the above linked site.
3. It will fail.

@ Kristoffer

Sorry for responding so very late.

This link doesn't work anymore, it redirects to

www.mediafire.com/error.php?errno=320

but apart from that, could you please ask for only one package in one bug report?

If package A needs package B, you can set package A to depend on the bug report number of package B, or package B to block the BR number of package A

Of course, but all theese things are related to each other.

Without the A, B wouldn't work etc. etc..

you mean:

A blocks B
B blocks C
C blocks A ?

You can keep them in one request, I've just heard that I misinterpreted our bugzilla rules
Comment 8 Marja Van Waes 2011-11-17 08:16:35 CET
Setting version to cauldron, because package requests will usually be done for cauldron first and then be available in next stable release

Version: 1 => Cauldron

Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.

You might also want to join the packager team to maintain this piece of software: see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager
