Description of problem:

When choosing a sound driver, the below message is shown:

#. -PO: keep the double empty lines between sections, this is formatted a la LaTeX
#: harddrake/sound.pm:506
#, c-format
msgid ""
"If you really think that you know which driver is the right one for your card\n"
"you can pick one from the above list.\n"

Yes, this bug is still valid.

@tv: I'm unsure how to effectuate the proposed patch so all translators are aware of the updated string. Can you help and/or explain the process needed to follow?
Comment 4 Remco Rijnders 2014-04-09 13:21:31 CEST
Yuri, you seem to have updated the translation catalogs for all languages before. Can you explain the procedure to me? I'd really like to close this bug report :)

There is a wiki page for this. ;)

https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Fixing_strings_in_code_without_breaking_translations

Or better just fix the string in the code and POT template, push and Transifex will do the rest. Do not do "make update_n_merge" in /po dir because tv does not like this. ;)
