Reboot after installation.
I see no improvements on my Intel Skylake i5-6500 machine compared to x11-driver-video-intel-2.99.917-14.mga5.x86_64.rpm. I still see glitches e.g. when expanding/reducing windows, and when playing videos in full screen mode (especially if scenes are moving fast). Intel posted a lot of bug fixes about Skylake recently: https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads/2016q1-intel-graphics-stack-release I don't know if problems I see are fixed by any of the newer releases. # uname -rm 4.4.9-desktop-1.mga5 x86_64 # lspcidrake -v | grep Card Card:Intel 810 and later: Intel Corporation|Sky Lake Integrated Graphics [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:8086 device:1912 subv:1043 subd:8694) (rev: 06)

Thomas do you wish to update this further or push this version?

Awaiting comment Thomas please.
Lets push this version, as some of the newer commits upstream are more experimental than I want to push for now... Regarding comment 3, some of the glitches can be fixed by upgrading your uefi/bios if available (helped on my Asus UX303UA laptop), and other fixes need newer mesa, preferrably upcoming 11.3 that should be in mga6

As it looks like that Mageia 6 will be delayed till September or so, would it be possible to backport Mesa 11.2 (or ideally the current git version to get all the recent Intel improvements) to Mageia 5? Not being able to view videos in full screen mode is a severe issue, IMO.
I actually thought this was part of a kernel update, and installed it some time ago. Seems to be working fine in my Dell Dimension E310 32-bit install, in both the 4.1.15 and 4.4.11 kernels. Be aware that this computer was hit with Bug #16986, and has had a line added manually to xorg.conf. # lspcidrake -v | grep Card Card:Intel 810 and later: Intel Corporation|82915G/GV/910GL Integrated Graphics Controller [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:8086 device:2582 subv:1028 subd:01c4) (rev: 04)
