Description of problem:
In Plasma, the "Add Panel" function makes Plasma to crash. A salvage reboot is the only way to reboot. But after the reboot, the panel is there.

Somebody on MLO forum found out a workaround.
Open the /home/user/.config/kwinrc file and in the [Compositing] part, set the "Enable" entry to "false".

I can confirm this.  The reason I was adding a Panel, is because after the upgrade from Mageia 5, all I had was an empty panel.  Once I removed that one, a regular default panel appeared in the same position (bottom of the screen).

I don't experience this anymore in current Cauldron.  Should be OK on the next ISOs.

i just tested on a fedora rawhide, and it crashes too.
So not mageia Specific bug.

Yes but plasma 5.6 if if i read correctly, so maybe a regression upstream regarding this.
