Description of problem: When I try to load windows under Mageia 6, grub2 reports the error "error: no shim lock protocol". Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Install grub2 onto hard disk on a system containing a windows partition. Direct UEFI bios to boot that disk. Select the windows partition from the menu. You will be returned to the menu immediately. If you instead press e to edit the menu entry and control-x to boot, the error message displays with a "Press any key to continue..." prompt. Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Theirry, this error message comes from the "secureboot" crap you synced from fedora...

(In reply to Nicholas Longo from comment #0) Please test grub2-efi-2.02-0.git10270.7.mga6 from core/updates_testing. (Enable the Core Updates Testing repo in MCC to install it - then remember to disable it immediately afterwards - *don't* do a system update with the testing repo enabled!!) see https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18380
