Description of problem: Audacity will not launch in Xfce when all DE installed.
attempting to launch from terminal results in: 
"$ audacity

(Audacity:7777): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: cannot register existing type 'GdkDisplayManager'

(Audacity:7777): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion 'result != 0' failed

(Audacity:7777): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_new: assertion 'G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed

(Audacity:7777): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_disable_setlocale() must be called before gtk_init() "

How reproducible:every time


Steps to Reproduce:
1.install all DE from above .iso
2.login to Xfce.
3.Attempt to playback an audio file with Audacity

Please try again with today's iso.

If this bug is still valid:

The summary gives the impression that it does _not_ occur when only one single DE is installed, is that correct?

after update today - 289 packages, and reboot - now ok

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
