Description of problem:When playing back audio in Audacity in the default window size, the "VU meter" display flickers in the range -57 to -36 dB. 
If the window is made larger, the flickering will stop. 
If the window is resized to the original size, the problem does not reappear.

How reproducible:every desktop


Steps to Reproduce:
1.install any single (or any combination of) DE from above .iso  
2.reboot and install into DE
3.Launch Audacity by menu launcher or by choosing from mouse menu. 
4.start playback and observe "VU meter"

All this is a bug somewhere in GTK as in MGA5 this version of audacity has no bug.
I group all this bugs in one.
