Description of problem:
many users are familiar with packages.ubuntu.com and e.g. packages.debian.org
other distros like archlinux also have package info pages available using packages.distroname url, like packages.archlinux.org

having an alias or redirect from packages.mageia.org to madb.mageia.org would help avoiding navigation mistakes...

Reasign to sysadmins as that is their domain.
