Description of problem:
I tried launching thunderbird from Konsole using the following: LC_ALL=C thunderbird &. I usually did this and closed the Konsole terminal and thunderbird kept running. Now thunderbird exits when I clos Konsole! Is it the new way it should be? If so, then this is no bug.. :)

I know that this happened using Gnome Terminal, but  with Konsole it used to work.


How reproducible:
Launch an application in background using Konsole then close Konsole.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Konsole
2. Launch LC_ALL=C thunderbird &
3. Close the terminal

I don't remember that that ever worked for me, but maybe my brain is just too old to remember :-þ

assigning to konsole maintainer, he'll know whether it should work or not :-)
