Comment 1 William Kenney 2016-07-23 22:25:51 CEST
On real hardware:

Launching Kamoso from the menu, or desktop icon, fails to launch
application. Launching from terminal results in the following errors:

[wilcal@localhost ~]$ kamoso
Playing device changed "/dev/video0"
QQmlApplicationEngine failed to load component
qrc:/qml/Main.qml:240 Type ImagesView unavailable
qrc:/qml/ImagesView.qml:7 module "org.kde.purpose" is not installed

libv4l2: error setting pixformat: Device or resource busy
"Device '/dev/video0' is busy"
Stop
libv4l2: error setting pixformat: Device or resource busy
"Device '/dev/video0' is busy"
Stop
libv4l2: error setting pixformat: Device or resource busy
"Device '/dev/video0' is busy"

repeats every second. A capture of the journalctl for this process
is attached to this bug. There appears to be no changes in There
/root/drakx files during this process.

Whiteboard: (none) => RC1

Comment 2 William Kenney 2016-07-23 22:28:46 CEST
The "libv4l2: error setting pixformat" 1sec loop appears to only occur
if there is a webcam attached to the USB port.

Thanks for your report!

Should be fixed in the next kamoso update adding a missing Requires on purpose.

Looks good. I can confirm that after update today Kamoso launches and displays
the USB webcam just fine. Setting this bug to Resolved.
