Description Frédéric "LpSolit" Buclin 2016-03-30 20:44:23 CEST
QupZilla 2.0.0 has been released today. It now depends on Qt 5.6 and QtWebEngine instead of the old and unmaintained QtWebKit. I couldn't compile it myself because Cauldron doesn't provide QtWebEngine, so this dependency will be required too.

Also adobe flash and icedtea-web is not supported in qupzilla/qtwebengine,qt added to 5.6 only support to pepper api so pepper flash is only supported flash now.

There's now version 2 - thanks! :)
It upgraded ok over previous version, but did not start, because qtwebengine5 package was not installed thus complaining about missing libv8. Installing qtwebengine5 made qupzilla to start and it seems to work ok now.
So I guess qtwebengine5 should be a dependency for qupzilla now...

Yes I have seen exactly the same error here. :)

I'll fix that.
Comment 6 David GEIGER 2016-04-25 11:05:47 CEST
Should be fixed now with qupzilla-2.0.0-3.mga6.

Bad bad now Mageia 5 stuck with that buggy webkit version what crash often and freeze and lot of pages not working and it's dead project no development in old crap webkit,it's official discontinued and pages ask to upgrade to supported browser.

I can't even use my home countrie awesome video services ruutu.fi with this buggy browser it freeze browser totally like i can't even scroll with mouse to down of page, video shows only black screen all these bugs are fixed in 2.0.

This is good example where packaging policys comes against Mageia, causing people need to use buggy browser only because of policys says no new features.

You can reopen this bug and bug 14794, set version to 5, put "Backport" in the Keywords field and adjust the summary accordingly
