Description Timothée Giet 2016-03-25 13:07:35 CET
Description of problem:

There is an icon cache issue that makes the desktop still load old icons instead of the new ones:
-in the main menu/application launcher, all the application categories, and the MCC icon, maybe others too.
-in the desktop bar, the wifi icon is the old one.

I tested with a new user, the new icons are properly used for all of those.

Also this happens on plasma, but may also happen with other desktops, testing needed.

Looks like the icons finally updated on my desktop, though it still needs to be checked on another recently-upgraded setup if the problem doesn't happen anymore.

It would be nice to have more people checking whether it is OK now in all DEs, and why not if not.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but it's most likely a topic for upstream.

I'm guessing the filetriggers aren't working correctly. There's an icon cache which needs to be updated. That's handled using filetriggers. If they don't run you'll get issues.
