Description Thomas Andrews 2016-03-20 21:44:03 CET
Description of problem:

Upon rebooting after an i586 live mode install, in VirtualBox, instead of finishing the install (getting user name, system and user passwords, activating mirrors, etc.) a login is presented with "live" as the user name, even though the install media had been disconnected. Proceeding, the system boots into live mode from the fresh install, including any changes to the desktop that were done before the install. The user can bring up MCC without a password, set up a specific mirror, get updates, etc.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

March 17 i586 Plasma5 LiveDVD.

I did search first, but apparently not with the correct key words. Will try to do better next time.
Comment 3 Thomas Andrews 2016-03-21 14:16:12 CET
OK, yes I did see bug 17309. But being able to log into the system in live mode wasn't mentioned, and I believed it might be a different bug.
