Description Georges Eckenschwiller 2016-03-17 11:24:38 CET
Description of problem:
Impossible of login with xdm

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a minimal install : chose 'personalized desk' -> Deselect all ->
Chose 'with Xserver' and without 'recommends'.
2. Reboot after install is finished.
3. Grub -> plymouth -> xdm -> blocked : neither keyboard nor mouse

Remarks : if I choise 'with recommends', keyboard and mouse are operational.
I think that the package x11-driver-input-evdev should be required, maybe by
x11-server-xorg.
This is a regression with regard to mga5

Comment 1 Thierry Vignaud 2016-03-18 09:08:54 CET
That would be x11-driver-input-libinput now.
Do you have task-x11 installed?
Comment 2 Georges Eckenschwiller 2016-03-18 16:44:36 CET
Since the modification of task-x11, the driver is loaded.

And it also works when I choose: without X server, without recommends
and if I only configure the graphical interface in the stage 'Summary'

It is my usual procedure. She installs only what is necessary for me.

It's perfect for me. Thank you
