Description of problem: After Installing form iso-dev1, only with Plasma, I reboot. After the login, the session starts, but the icons are only zebra. Nothing is recognizable. When I switch to a console, then return to the graphical session, the screen is OK. But nothing is responsive. It seems that kwin eats all the processor. When I disable the Composite option, the screen stay black with the pointer of the mouse.
if you google for 'plasma5 "Geforce 7025"' there are quite some links. In one of them (no zebras mentioned there, though) it is suggested to use xrender

plasma-desktop and plasma-workspace are installed. After updating today, the symptoms are the same. LXQt works fine.
That won't solve the bug per se (it should work out of the box), but you can try experimenting with the OpenGL settings in systemsettings, and pick xrender or OpenGL 1 instead of (I suppose) OpenGL 2.
Hello, I tried with xrender as Compositer, and YES, it works. The option OpenGL 1 is not available, but the option 3.x (don't remember exactly). Thus, how to set this value by default at boot (for Live media) or installation?

After the installation with 6sta1, I encounter no more problem. Thus closing.
