Description of problem: I have a laptop with a touchscreen, and a classical screen connected by HDMI. When the two screens are used, the input from the touchscreen uses the whole display zone, including the second screen. Thus, the pointer doesn't come under where we touch the screen. In this configuration, the touchscreen is useless. The problem is reported in KDE bugs tracker, but closed as won't fix. Who can fix that if not KDE? 0_0 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333099 It seems that Gnome gave a fix. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): KDE 4 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Connect and enable a second screen 2.Touch the first screen having touchscreen 3.Pointer can be on the second screen
@ Yves I think, if this issue exists in cauldron Plasma5 too, that there is more chance that neoclust will spend time on trying to fix it. Does the bug exist there, too?

Hello Marja, Yes, Plasma 5 is also concerned, it seems: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346795 But I can't confirm that. I haven't Mageia 6 on this installation. However, I don't think that the solution for one will be applied to the second.

Please change Version: of this report to 6, if it's still valid. Thanks, Marja
