Description of problem: The menu entries for wine are weirdly placed in lxde: While the entries for the 3rd party windows programs installed after wine are at a place one would expect (as sub-entries of Wine -> Programs ), the entries for wine's own tools are erroneously placed as sub-entries of a "Wine" sub-entry of an empty-named sub-entry of an empty-named entry of the main menu. See appended screenshots. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): wine-1.8-6.mga6, wine32-1.8-6.mga6 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install wine 2. run lxde 3. have a look at the menu entries for wine in the lxde menu

Assigning to all packagers collectively, because wine doesn't have a maintainer. CC'ing LXDE maintainer, though

Created attachment 7545 [details] Wine entries in LXDE menu I don't see this issue in LXDE - see screenshot. It seems the menu is the one from LXQt not the one from LXDE.
similar bug with the entries for bristol: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17924 and what i just wrote there applies just the same here: I did install both LXDE and LXQt at the time, but never use the latter. I only really use LXDE on a daily basis. So I don't know if maybe the fact of having installed LXQt too might have anything to do with my problem - and now that you mention LXQt, I do have the problem there as well - but the fact is: I do have that problem in LXDE too, and my screenshots were taken in LXDE, not LXQt.
As Nicolas pointed out in the thread to that other bug (cf comments 16-18 there and https://wiki.mageia.org/mw-en/index.php?title=Mageia_5_Errata&oldid=30956#LXDE for details), only users with an older $HOME/.config/lxsession/LXDE/desktop.conf file (with "menu_prefix=lxde-") will have this problem in LXDE, while newer users (with "menu_prefix=") will have it in LXQt but not in LXDE.
This has already been reported upstream for lxqt, best add your comment there that you're also affected: https://github.com/lxde/lxqt/issues/413 I'll try to take a look what can be done on our side.
