Description Frédéric "LpSolit" Buclin 2016-01-21 20:24:07 CET
Same as bug 17128. Bugzilla depends on JSON::RPC which depends on mod_perl which depends on Apache. This means that on Mageia 5, there is no way to run Bugzilla without having Apache installed too. The dependency on mod_perl should be removed.

Fixed in Cauldron and in MGA-5. Submitted to 5/core/updates_testing. Assigning to QA. Here is the advisory:

Advisory:
========================

Updated perl-JSON-RPC package removes a dependency on apache-mod_perl (and ergo apache).

Frédéric Buclin discovered that perl-JSON-RPC, which is a bugzilla dependency, had a hard dependency on apache-mod_perl and as a result apache, while it can be used without them.

MGA5-32 on Acer D620 Xfce.
Removed Apache from the laptop, checked that mod_perl was not installed anymore. Then installed the test package: no dependency anymore on apache-mod_perl.
