Installsq sqliteman with the Mageia control centre 2. run sqliteman and try to open an sqlite file 3. It says that it is probably not an sqlite file Installing qt4-database-plugin-sqlite-4.8.6-9.mga5 solved it, so it seems to just be a packaging issue. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

If no other packages pulling 'qt4-database-plugin-sqlite' are installed on the computer, sqliteman can't open a sqlite file. MGA5-32 on Acer D620 Xfce Followed procedure as per Comment 2 using sample database file from http://www.essentialsql.com/get-ready-to-learn-sql-how-to-install-sqlite-and-the-sample-database/ (file attached) Confirm problem occurs with sqliteman-1.2.2-4 . sqliteman-1.2.2-4.1 draws in qt4-database-plugin-sqlite and susequently the test file is recognized.
