Description Lutz Lacher 2016-01-08 15:21:09 CET
Description of problem:

The X-Server does not start after todays update of a VM running cauldron. The error message in /var/log/Xorg.0.log

[ 124.557] (EE) AIGLX error: dlopen of /usr/lib64/dri/swrast_dri.so failed (libLLVM-3.7.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

The rpm lib64llvm3.7-3.7.1-1.mga6 contains only

[root@localhost ~]# rpm -ql lib64llvm3.7-3.7.1-1.mga6
/usr/lib64/libLLVM-3.7.so

After manually creating the symlink from /usr/lib64/libLLVM-3.7.so to libLLVM-3.7.1.so the X-Server starts as expected.
