Though the lxpanel 0.5.6 source tarball that can be downloaded from here :
https://sourceforge.net/projects/lxde/files/LXPanel%20%28desktop%20panel%29/LXPanel%200.5.6/lxpanel-0.5.6.tar.gz/download
shows an src/plugins/netstatus directory, no such plugin appears in lxpanel 0.5.6 Mageia package.

lxpanel-0.5.6-2.1mga1 should land in the core/updates_testing repo soon, it has all the plugins enabled including the netstatus one, please test it.

The lxpanel package in Mageia 1 didn't have all the panel plugins built resulting in the netstatus plugin not being available, this update fixes this issue by building all the panel plugins.
