Please install mageiawelcome-1.2-2.mga6 when it hits mirrors. It should fix this issue. Thanks.

Hi ben, did you find time to test MageiaWelcome for this bug recently?
I will be testing the new .iso tonight, so will check and report back as the new package should be included
Mageia welcome can be launched in Mate from the menu launcher and from terminal. there is a how-ever, it does not launch by itself at first login. see also https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17561
(In reply to ben mcmonagle from comment #5) > Mageia welcome can be launched in Mate from the menu launcher and from > terminal. > > there is a how-ever, it does not launch by itself at first login. > > see also https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17561 So, this bug is fixed. Other issue is not related with this but another issue which Daniel fixed, i think. Thank you for your tests, qa work (which is awesome for me and MATE) and your report.
