Libuv is a multi-platform asynchronous IO library that is used by Kestrel, a cross-platform HTTP server for hosting ASP.NET 5 web applications. Having this package in the Mageia packages would save some effort in setting up the recent ASP.NET 5 releases from Microsoft, e.g. the directions for Ubuntu and Fedora-based distributions all involve compiling from source: https://docs.asp.net/en/latest/getting-started/installing-on-linux.html#installing-on-centos-fedora-and-derivatives Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

libuv was already in cauldron when this report was filed, so for Mageia 5 this should have been a backport request. Anyway, it is in Mageia 6 and Cauldron now. Mageia 5 has officially reached its End of Life on December 31st, 2017 https://blog.mageia.org/en/2017/11/07/mageia-5-eol-postponed/ It only continued to get important security updates since then, because we are waiting for a big Plasma5 update in Mageia 6, that'll fix many of the Mageia 5 => 6 upgrade issues. Closing this request.
