Description of problem: In either KDE Plasma5 or LXDE,[ LXDM ]  attempting to play a .mp4 file causes desktop manager to crash. after 5 minutes the login screen has not reappeared - black screen. 
If an .mp3 audio file is selected, playback is normal
does not alter if player is launched and then file is opened for playback or .mp4 file is right clicked and player selected from mouse

How reproducible:every time


Steps to Reproduce:
1.boot to Cauldron with LXDM and LXDE or Plasma5 desktop, update to latest
2.launch Parole or VLC and playback an .mp3 audio file
3.launch Parole or VLC and playback an .mp4 video file

attempting same with Lightdm / LXDE, similar outcome.
difference is login screen almost immediately appears

removed lxdm 0.5.2-2.mga6 as suspect rpm package
