Hello all the team Mageia, Description of problem: I do not know if it's a bug or not, but on the MLO forum member raised an issue. http://www.mageialinux-online.org/forum/topic-10448+ccm-centre-de-control-mageia.php He uninstall "sane" and actually lost "drakconf". I tried myself with the CCM and he actually wants to remove some dependencies. Here: Pour satisfaire les dépendances, le ou les paquetages suivants doivent aussi être supprimés : - drakconf-12.21.9-2.mga1.noarch - harddrake-ui-13.58-1.mga1.x86_64 - hplip-3.11.3a-5.mga1.x86_64 - hplip-gui-3.11.3a-5.mga1.x86_64 - lib64sane-hpaio1-3.11.3a-5.mga1.x86_64 - sane-frontends-1.0.14-11.mga1.x86_64 - task-printing-hp-2010-4.mga1.x86_64 - task-scanning-2009.1-4.mga1.noarch - xsane-gimp-0.998-1.mga1.x86_64 Is this normal or is this a bug? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): I use Mageia release 1 (Official) for x86_64 and kernel desktop 2.6.38.7. Here I thank you in advance.
harddrake-ui depends on sane-backends so this is expected (already found on the forum I see). hplip now also depends on sane-backends because of bug #792 - that explains the removal of the printing packages. So it's probably not a good idea to remove sane-backends.
