Description of problem: If you want to configure a drive to share, then it wants to install samba-server (SMB) or nfs-utils (NFS) and aborts with an error (cant get installed) How reproducible: Start MCC (Mageia Control Center), under the Local Disk tab, labelled "Share your hard disk partitions". Configure your settings (All user, or Custom). After that select SMB or NFS. If you choose SMB it wants to install the pakage samba-server, but it fails. If you choose NFS it wants to install the pakage nfs-utils, but it fails. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Update: Under MGA5 this also happens if you want to use NFS (nfs-utils)

NFS issue reported as Bug 13353. For SMB, we'll have to fix this in Mageia 5 also when we update to Samba 4.

Sorry for the extreme late reply. Works for Cauldron. MGA5 has still the problem.
Version: Cauldron => 5
Is the package samba-server still existing? It seems that not, according to a search in madb.
