Assigning to the release manager for the classical ISOs.

Obviously the Mageia 5 ISOs can't be fixed (unless we issue new ones later), but hopefully something can be put into the bcd scripts to prevent this issue in the future.

In the meantime, perhaps we could put something on the wiki web server to redirect the old URL to the current one?

@ Ben,

Can you keep an eye on this when testing Mga6.1 isos?

If you still see it, then please change "MGA6-sta2" on the whiteboard to "MGA6.1"

Thanks :-)

I dont know how much Anne is around nowadays

https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Main_Page#/doku.php?id=iso1:mageia1_release_notes
lands on our wiki main page. Not too bad.

Maybe there in the section "Distribution development"
add links to mga8 release notes and errata?

The problem is that the URL is embedded in a binary file. I'm fairly sure it requires a Windows development environment to rebuild it. The source code can be viewed at

  https://gitweb.mageia.org/software/autorun/

if anyone cares to have a look.

I've rebuilt it so it now points at Mageia 8 and added it to the mirrors
