This is strictly an enhancement proposal. Whenever I do an upgrade using the installer, I almost get a mini heart-attack when I see "partitioning /dev/sda5" for a very short time even though I made sure _not_ to partition anything. The reason is just that /dev/sda5 is my swap partition, and gets formatted regardless of what is done for other partitions. To prevent this kind of discomfort, I wondered if we could mention the partition type and/or the mount point in this message, so that it would be clear that no important data partition is being formatted. WDYT? Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

s/partitioning/formatting/ I suppose :)
(In reply to Samuel VERSCHELDE from comment #1) > s/partitioning/formatting/ I suppose :) Indeed :)

Well, the message is usually very shord lived and anyway once you see it, it's too late so I don't see the point in adding this... Moreover you were asked for just before
Priority: Normal => Low
Well it's low priority indeed, but for me a short-lived message that gives me the feeling that it's wiping out my precious data is an annoyance (and an unwanted adrenaline bump). The current behaviour isn't bad per se, but it doesn't mean that we can't improve it :)
