Description Frédéric "LpSolit" Buclin 2015-10-01 00:43:53 CEST
Gazelle is a very optimized Perl module to run PSGI applications, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1201113#c3. It's faster than Starman, which is already available in Mageia 5.

Bugzilla is going to be patched to be run as a PSGI application, see the URL above, and so could directly benefit from this Perl module on Mageia.

CC-ing sysadmins since it can bring benefits to our bugzilla installation (if needed).

CC'ing Sander85, who might be willing (and have time) to package it

Sure, I've now packaged and submitted Gazelle on Cauldron - http://pkgsubmit.mageia.org/ - hopefully it will enter the repo.

Thanks Shlomi :-)

Should it be backported to mga5, since this was meant for coming Bugzilla?

No need. Mageia 5 has Bugzilla 5.0, which doesn't support PSGI.
