Hi, The problem should be solved with libfm-1.2.3-4.1.mga5 which will be available in core/updates_testing. Could you test if the problem is over with those packages? I also corrected Cauldron. Best regards, Nico.
Created attachment 7012 [details] Package status after the update I update libfm to 1.2.3-4.1 version. Nothing changed about the problem previously described: It's impossible to add some objects in the application launcher. (System tools, accessories, sound and and video, options are not usable)
Hi, Did you also update the other packages: lxshortcut, lib64fm4 (or libfm4 for 32bits) and lib64fm-devel (or libfm-devel for 32bits) if the last one was also installed? Did you log out and then log into LXDE after updating the packages? Best regards, Nico.
Hi Nicolas, I didn't know the dependencies of libfm. So after updating lxshortcut and lib64fm4, it's ok. Now I can add all the applications in the launcher. Thank you and good job.

Testing mga5 32 Confirmed the bug. Right click the launcher bar and select "Application Launcher Bar" settings to access it. Unable to add applications from certain menu categories to the Application Launcher Bar. Seems to need a log out/log in to take effect brb.
Testing complete mga5 32 The fix seems to correct the apparent menu structure so that applications are found correctly and can now be added to the launcher bar.

(In reply to David Walser from comment #11) > Did you mean for lxde-common-0.99.0-9.5.mga5.src.rpm to be pushed with this > update? No, I made that commit in case of, after that, another commit would have been necessary to solve another real problem but that never happened. That commit is only a very minor improvement so there is no need to push a new version of lxde-common for that.
Ok, thanks.
