The STIX fonts provide a wide coverage or mathematical and technical characters: http://www.stixfonts.com/ A font with an OpenType MATH table is also needed by some Web rendering engines to display MathML. (Also, note that some Linux distributions (such as Fedora) ship the fonts for the default installation so that it provides good rendering of math formulas and symbols by default. It would be great if STIX was pre-installed on Mageia by default)
